Service Staff

Alex Collins
Service Manager
Alex, who has been with VRS for less than a year, has been in the industry itself for 14 years. His experience arises from his work as both a Heavy Diesel Technician as well as a Vauxhall Service Manager. Alex is customer-focused and ensures every customer receives the highest standard of service at VRS.

Albert Pregely
Sales Manager
Albert joined the VRS team recently, bringing with him 25 years of sales experience as a Sales Rep, Sales Manager and Business Development Manager. Albert uses his many years of combined experience to devise strategies for VRS to maximise sales and customer loyalty. When Albert is not working, he enjoys the simple things in life - football, music, good food and good wine.

Technicians

Ali Abdelatti
Mechanic
Ali, who has 24 years experience in the field, has been with VRS less than a year. His qualifications allow him a wide range of specialties including diesel engines, cambelts, brake systems, gearboxes, suspension systems, fuel systems, cooling systems and general servicing.

Clifford Donaghey
3rd Year Apprentice
Cliff, who has been with VRS for 6 months, has a total of four years experience in the automotive trade. He currently is working towards his NVQ Level 3.

Paul Egan
MOT Tester / Mechanic
Paul has been with VRS for less than one year of his 23 years combined experience. He is a qualified MOT tester and is both Peugeot and Mercedes Benz trained. In his off time, Paul enjoys motorcycling and motor racing.

John W. Harris
Dedicated Tester/Quality Control
John, who has been with VRS for 9 years, has more than 40 years experience in the automotive trade, having been involved in all aspects of the trade since 1966. His experience over the years was varied and includes mechanical work, bodywork and welding. However, these days you will find him enjoying our fully-automated, state-of-the-art MOT bays. When John is not testing your car for road-worthiness, you will most likely find him watching a football match.

Matt
Electrician
Matt has 15 years experience in electronics, 10 of which have been as part of the VRS team. His specialties involve all aspects of electronics including: starter motors; alternators; alarms; immobilisers; radio fits and codes; air con; and diagnostics.

Roy Morris
MOT Tester/Mechanic/AC Technician
Roy has been working with VRS for 15 of his 22 years experience in the automotive trades. Roy is a qualified MOT tester and is AC certificated. His specialities at VRS include: welding; MOT repairs; air con; engine repairs; code reading key programming; tyre fitting; paint work and servicing. When he is not clocked in at VRS, Roy is most often found in front of his computer or spending time with his girlfriend.

Chris Wallace
Technician
Chris, with 12 years experience in total, has been with the VRS team the last three years. He holds NVQ Levels 1 through 3 as well as City & Guilds. Chris not only performs MOTs at VRS, but also is qualified as an Air Conditioner Engineer, fabrication welder, machine operator and auto-electrician. In his spare time, Chris enjoys playing rugby and socializing with friends at the pubs.

Joe Whitmore
Mechanic
Joe, who has acquired NVQ Level 3, has 4 years experience in the trade, all of which were part of VRS team.
